Wrath of Xenu.
Ok that made very little sense. :DL
But seriously, I suppose this is a real threat that is out there. Now we need Bruce Willis who is an oil driller to be sent up there with Ben Affleck etc. etc.

so basically we almost had another tunguska event. I'm not worried.
you have better chances of a plane landing on you head than being killed by somthing like that.

But what if... just if... that event happened over say Los Angeles.
Now that would be a different event, thousands would die.

If it landed off the coast in the Pacific it would probably obliterate every city and town within a hundred miles of the ocean with a half mile high tsunami.
Given how crazy surfers are they'd probably flock to the scene. :yep:

After seeing Ben Affleck's performance in 'Pearl Harbour' one cannot escape the conclusion that if humanity was wiped out be an asteriod we probably deserve eveything we get...

We had a small, half a kilo, meteorite hit the ground here in Finland. So it's not like these things aren't really impacting earth all the time.
There could be others earlier but this one is another big one that will hopefully not hit earth in 2029.
