Okay, why on earth did this game come out so close to Empire: TW? I dont have time for this!:) I just got it, so I am determined to at least finish the Russian campaign in time for musket fire.

A handful of missions into this thing my conclusion is that this is the best WW2 rts since Soldiers: Heroes of WW2. The reason for that being that this in many ways IS Soldiers: Heroes of WW2, but with much better graphics, and very cool maps. If you didnt like Faces of War very much, get this one!

This feels more like an addon to Soldiers than a stand-alone game. Wasnt too fond of it, I liked Soldiers, but this one feels unfinished.. oh and the voice acting has to be the worst I've heard in ages. :har: Also, the AI is dumber than a boot, they have absolutely no sense in their actions. This wouldnt mind if there'd be only a handfull of soldiers in your command, but telling 10+ guys to get to cover is abit too much.

Aye, the voice acting in the cut scenes is awful, but luckily that matters as much as the colour on the dvd casing.

Played for 3-4 missions and put it aside. Too much micromanagement over your troops, they do almost nothing unless you tell them to. And then there's the stuff that no matter how small the building is, you cant toss a grenade over it, instead the soldier circles the building and throws the 'nade from 1m while staring the barrel of an enemy MG. :yeah:

Ow and I hate the camera, especially when you drive a tank. Why cant the camera point to the direction you are going/the barrel is pointed? Instead you have to move the camera around whilst you drive. The camera not being locked to the vehicle doesnt help at all either.

Hehe, if you want to toss a grenade over a building hit "end" and throw it yourself. Well, if you dont like micro management you wont like this game. That is one of the things I really like. I find rush-gun-boom games, like CoH, a bit to fast paced.

Well i just got this game and am loving it, I went on their website to look for a editor walkthrough and came across a 'Dynamic campaign' mod for MoW. Haven't tried it yet but will be alot of fun setting up your own game. Oh and about the editor i have no problem designing the landscape etc,. but the ground layer looks like some spaceage platform no matter what i put on top of it, trees/plants/water, below it all is this futuristic layer??? Anyone know how do i get rid of it.

Jason1, one of our very dedicated modders released his latest version of the Dynamic Campaign Generator 2.0, a modification for Men of War.

This mod allows you to create your own dynamically generated campaign, to set up your units and battle the AI to gain new territories without any modding or programming skills. Definitely worth a try if you are a skirmish player, or just a singleplayer gamer that wants to get his hands on something new and challenging!

I have this game and play it sometimes,I hate how you cant pick more than one unit at a time and voice commands are kind of dumb.I do like the online though,has a very good online.:|\\

I have this demo and seems like a good game.

The biggest complaint I keep hearing is that its hard.... really hard... even on the easy settings.

That and the fact that the AI troops do have a mind of their own and at times do suicidal things if left to their own.

Its not hard on easy, unless you try to rush into a well fortified position with guns blazing. Use every man, position guns and steal whatever you can find and its quite boring on easy, I play normal myself.

In addition multiplayer is truly epic, I play every day at the moment.:up:

Anyone from here play this game online? I`m on almost every night, its so addictive. Usually in "combat" servers with my deadly Hummels tearing stuff down.
