Capital ships

If you sink Hood or Rodney or other capital ship (GWX 3.0), for example, in November 1939., do they respawn later in career or they stay sunk?

They respawn, like every other ship in the game. I got caught once, sitting outside a harbour and had a great time blasting waves of ships heading out.

Once I ran out of ammo, I returned to base, only to find that the ships I had sunk were respawned and I got no credit for them.:damn:

They respawn. Like Lazarus they rise from the dead unless the campaign script removes them historically (like the Hood in 1941)

ive sunk hms nelson twice in the same patrol....hms rodney remains elusive:hmmm:

got credit for both kills still:D
