In case anyone cares how I'm fairing with the Thermalright V2 VGA cooler on my 4870 1GB, At idle I hover about 40C. Under full load (3DMark running) I bounce back at forth between 49C and 50C (I have ATI's temp guage running on the second monitor during the test so I can watch it). I'd say this thing kicks butt! To those that don't know, I have a silent 2000 RPM fan on it, so my video card will forever be always inaudible.

For those that want to O/C a 4870, the GPU has a max temp rating of 120C. I'd say a good safe target for O/C would be 90C. The point being, the V2 leaves a ton (This word doesn't even justify it) of room for O/C'ing!
