I'd almost bet James Hansen had something to do with it to keep us from the truth. Now we have to rely on the Japanese sat that is only so so for performance.

I wonder how much greenhouse gases are expelled in the launching of these sats that are supposed to measure how much greenhouse gases are expelled in the atmosphere? :D

Tons, more than you me, and the entire Subsim community put together in our lifetime.

Kind of ironic aint it.

The conspiricy theories are starting to fly but if they wanted to to fail they would have made it fail on orbit not during launch.

Just a craptastic fairing.

You never know zach, could be a case of hiding the evidence in plain sight...:ping:

Frankly it doesn't surprise me it crashed, not by conspiracy but by who launched it...

It would have been ironic if it took out a green peace ship!

I'll bet they blame it on global warming.

They'd be right! see, if it wasn't for GW, they wouldn't have had to launch the satellite to prove the existence of GW (the launching of which, accoring to their theories, contributes to GW anyway), and so they can prove GW cos they launched the rocket that helped cause it, and so its all GW's fault!
