Just moved up from sh3 to sh4 wher is the 1.5 download patch all i can get is the 1.1:wah:

You can get patch 1.4 at the ubisoft site.

If you want 1.5, it is the Uboat mission Add on pack and you will have to buy it.

Why is it that after installing sh4 with the latest pactches my pc does not know its installed, cannot even start the game
Run sh3 gwx3 gold no problems

yep. vista has a problem with games in the program files, you see vista doesnt think games are programs so it doesnt let them work there.

you should install them directly to "c drive" and not to "c drive/ programs" like most games are set up to do and all works great or even on a seperate partition if you have one. i have been told its best to click on "my computer" then "c drive" and create a folder there called "games" and then redirect all your game installations to install all your games there into the "games" folder.

Ive done all this same problem
no sortcut to desktop
can only run game of dvd

The icon for sh4 is located in the games folder on the right side of the start menu. Vista puts it in there along with the other games you install.

Browse your way to the SH4 folder, right-click sh4.exe and select "Send to -> Desktop(create shortcut)"

How can i click on a folder when no folder is there or anywhere in pc
uninstalled reinstalled that many times disc must be worn out

Reinstalled again but this time ran compatibility mode to run in Windows XP.:D :yeah:

so as long as vista thinks its in xp:yeah:
