No where does it say if this was a forced situation or an 'oops'.

Yes I see a picture of the gear lever in the up position but that could have been moved after the fact.

These planes nealy touch the ground even with the wheels down, it would be easy to not realize they werent down till you heard the scraping. :o

Didn't this happen before, and after repairs the plan was able to take off on her own, and get back to the business she is built to do? Wouldn't it be if it was the same airframe as the one before, doubt it, but wouldn't it be.

Thankfully my place happens to be under the flight path of the western approuch to NI NAS. Yesterday morning as I was coming home, on the glide path was a C-17. I have to say, it was beautiful and quiet. To bad I didn't have my camera, otherwise I'd have pictures to show ya'll.
