Then you're playing at too low TC :P

Personally, I don't mind if there are only two rooms. I spend more time in the navigation chart anyways.

i did only one 1x patrol... i found the experience to be uniquely fun and exciting.

If i had an entire u-boat to explore... and perhaps some interactive crew... id be set.

as far as when we will have a full interior?

@SuperMarket: Haha that's true sometimes I just load SH3 turn on the gramaphone and enjoy the external 3D view until I got bored. :yeah: . Very relaxing.

Most of the time I sit at the navigation map cruising at x256 TC with the gramophone playing. (300+ tracks will keep you entertained a LONG time btw) Keeps a nice balance between boredom and entertainment. :O:

If we had the U-boat interiors fully modelled, that would just be awesome. Even if we could only jump from one room to another (As opposed to being able to walk around and explore... Actually that's what I originally thought we'd be able to do when I first got SH3), it'd still be great to see the rest of the boat.

...oh, if only. 1x on hunts and during evasion, we'd be seeing the tense crewmen in each compartment.

Ubi - release the SDK code so the modders out there can have a go at it.

Historically U-boat commanders spent very little time in the engine room, crew quarters, aft and fore torpedo compartments, The exceptions to this norm would be when there a problem in a specific area, or to go and give the boys a pep talk.

That being said i would like the option of doing those things. What we really need as another room is acess to the HEAD!!!!

Its a hellava feat to hold your bladder for a month at sea, and for the other ploblem i just tell my crew to bring plenty of duct tape!!!:timeout::timeout:

You may be correct, I don't remember the games name but my son played an x-box game where you had to board a u-boat in-port and set charges. Funny how the engines are running.

Guys, this sin't going to happen with SHIII. Talented modders have given us alot though; with the limits of III's engine. Like the Open Hatch Mod, OLC, etc. Maybe it would be cool to be in the forward torpedo room when you make an attack, but I usually am at F6.

RadioLog_Expanded v.2 is a stand alone, containing 11,000+ messages. It is designed to spread out the amount of messages for `39 - `45. The bulk being in the early `40's oviously. I look at the work as a base of messages, so to say. Where people can take out certain lines they don't want, or add custom jazz. It plays by itself rather nicely, v.2 also has 2 versions of the daily-double where groups of messages are sent only twice in a day.

Now to further obscure your quick question into a long winded answer .. :03:

GWX has permission to include what ever material they needed from RL_E, but extended is not expanded. I know it has some modified lines and some of W_B's work. But untill I install 3.0 and have a look I can't say. Yes, I'm still on 1 last carrer in 2.1, viic/41 in late `44 refuses to die. But I can say this, it's just a text file. If there is material in Expanded not in the GWX file you can simply cut and paste.

yeeah castout i remember this, it was a good bit of gaming and almost perfectly set out , i was searching for completion of work more like this for sh4 ( im sorry but the superior graphics ) makes it my fav frm sh3 and sh4.... il be hoping some one could mod something to add the rooms so far there are only 4 max in sh4 when in a u_boat with conning tower you can go on whatch command room hyrophone room (as seen w pic of sea chief on wall) and the tower but soon hopefully the torpedo rooms... i need keeping up to date
