I've never been too much of a Tarantino fan. I figured he was going for the whole "different" thing when he cast Brad Pitt in a serious role:yawn: and named one of the characters "Hammersmark", so Basterds makes "sense" for this one.

Ah, Morgan Freeman and James Earl Jones must be busy. Seriously, that will be cool, Jackson is one of my favs. I only wish Bruce Willis was playing Hitler. But that would be most unwise, Willis in the movie role of Hitler... his manliness could so overpower the physical universe, it could warp reality and possibly change the course of past history--we would come out of the theater to a world where the Nazis won WWII and own the world! :timeout:

Certainly not historically accurate but all they same, for people like us who study things from WW2, it will certainly make us think of the possibility of such a thing happening. Should be entertaining. Perhaps like a gangster movie just set in France during WW2.
