And who gave the AI some intelligence? They're actually acting more human like at last! Although the smoking P40 which chased Hunter all the way back to our base whilst being hounded by myself out of ammunition was pulling some freaky left and right spins, not quite sure what was going on there, but I guess the guy survived so kudos to him :hmmm:
Oh, and was my second landing as spectacular as it sounded? I was coming in at far too steep an angle I knew, but I wanted to land and not hold everyone up, so I figured that if I lost a little bit of undercarriage...well...the lolwaffles are masters at replacing undercarriages are they not? :03:

I was able to land my crate at an abandoned airfield.:salute:

The gunner AI is set to rookie level (or at least I think). The campaign was made for my squadron which is a fun squad so the missions are usually beatable.

it means that each aircraft has its own skill level rather than the entire flight of 4 sharing the same skill level. If you go along and check each plane under the skill setting you'll probably find that one or two are different - a great way to set flights with a mix of AI levels such as an Ace leader with a Veteran wingman ;)

You need to assign a key for I believe it's the Throttle = 10% setting. I've put mine on Ctrl+B.

Another kill for me, thanks to Schroeder for giving me directions to look, my eyesight is pretty damn useless, and thanks to Hunter and Schroeder for talking me out of my two stalls.

So that's two P-40s and a P-51. :yeah:

Great strafing mission on the second mission, I think Schroeder hit the P-51 I was strafing because it blew up, so I pulled up and saw a Bf109 swoop overhead from nine to three o clock. I might have gotten a kill or two if I had ruddy remembered I had four bombs, not two. Still, I got the Med Sea! :06:

I got two on the straffing run.

ONe thing though, the bombs dind't show up in the arming screen before we flew so I wasn't really sure.

Good fun though. Damn G-6 has got hardly any ammuntion.

The ammount of ammunition for the MG 151/20 should be the same as in the F4 (same weapon). The MGs in the G6 however are the bigger MG 131 (13mm) so they have fewer ammo than the smaller MG 17 (7.92mm).

F-4s any day over that pos, thank you. Even an FW would do, but I'm afraid the real JG77 never used them. It's various 109-Gs until the end of the war, with a few Ks thrown in the mix in 1945. Apparently the II. Gruppe even used MC.205s for over a year at one time, but I don't know the story behind this.

What comes to sensoring, I'm quite happy Subsim doesn't do it as strictly as ubizoo. Hans-Joachim Marseille is M****ille there :haha:

I think the next mission we have to bomb there I'll Stuka the damn things because trying to do a fast and low strafing run is a quick way to get turned into a Sieve. I dunno if the holes were there because I hit the sea on my landing but I saw a massive gaping hole in my stern fuselage as my tail sunk below the sea.

The Mossies were a fun raid, dark but at least they were easy to see, and no rear gunners! Easy pickings!! Had to laugh at Schroeders timing though:

Unfortunately no m8 :cry: There were a couple of other aircraft coming in from the nine oclock position, they were quite lucky in some retrospect,because when you passed over the target,realising i forgot to pack some bombs i began firing, oblivious to the fact they were coming in low........anyways have a look,not the best quality http://www.vimeo.com/3446671

Spits, they may be stall monkeys at times (in Olegs world) but at least they're a bit more stable at the altitudes that we fly than the Uber-Stall-Fleiger the Fw-190.
