What an awful way to go. Can't even begin to imagine what the parents are going through.

Thats a real shame... Parents supervise your children please?
Yea one of the hazards of front loading washing machines. Easy for kids or pets for that matter to get into... Weeee a spaceship !
Now they will have to put some sort of 'child proofing' on them.

The question remains, where were the parents in this whole thing?
A very sad thing, and a good reminder that we must keep little children constantly under watch  I think that what her mother will feel for the rest of her life, blaming herself for having let them play alone is terrible. What a terrible punishment :nope:

It'll be worse for the brother who pressed the on button I think.

He's only a little over one year old. I would hope he won't remember, and that no one will remind him.

Oh Im pretty sure this will stick with him for the rest of his life. Regardless of age.

The cynical part of me knows that there is some lawyer out there licking thier chops at the prospect of sueing the manufacturer for not creating a child safety measure. It's a tragedy to be sure, and my heart goes out to the family.
