I particularly enjoyed his derision of Al Gore. That was pretty damn funny.


That being said, as much I agree with Beck there, his graph is slightly misleading. No doubt it is an accurate reflection of the money supply, but it fails to take into account the Gross National Product. The money supply only becomes a real problem when its' growth outpaces that of the GNP, which it is currently doing, but in a slightly less catastrophic-looking fashion than Beck's chart would indicate. Not much less, but a little, yes.

All else aside, the video gets a rating of "Epic Win" for featuring a Ron Paul plug.:up: :up: :up:

According to him, our rights are somehow derived from god, agreeing with James Dobson's misquote of the Constitution, "we're endowed by the Creator with certain unalienable rights."

-SNot only that, but what is troubling is that our society is becoming an "entitlement" society and that is the real problem. Rather than individual's garnering their own financial destiny, it is now becoming the governments role. This is self evident from the failed welfare policies right up to the bail outs. People can be programmed like monkey's who hit a button when a banana is dispensed. However, if that monkey gets an electric shock rather than a banana it will change its behavior accordingly. The people are being rewarded for bad behavior from individual to corporation and even in government. Why should they be held accountable when they get their bananas foe bad behavior?

You really need an explanation? I'm disappointed, but be my guest:
The "community" is not 80% of the people here, 50%, 30%, or just you. The "community" is all the people participating here. So I find it astounding that you deem yourself in a position to speak "on behalf" of the community, or in other words, post your own opinion as if it were valid for everybody else here.

The funny thing with you "progressives" is that while you started out to get away from what you thought to be a narrow-minded perspective, you are always coming full circle, just ending up in a different color. You think Subman is a fundamentalist, or hardliner - so are you. You think he is on a mission - so are you. But other than you, Subman doesn't pretend to speak on behalf of anybody other than himself. Which in my book grants him a lot more credibility than otherwise.
