Hi there, I'm just wondering in SH4, is there any way (like editing some config/game file) to keep the Torpedo Event Camera open until detonated or reached maximum range?
I always like to fire torpedoes from a very long range (in both SH3 and SH4), but the event camera is always closed before I can see the results:cry:.
Thanks in advance.

the event camera uses up a lot of your computers resources and slows fps considerably so thats why it only works for short periods.
if you like watching and following the action then just use the free camera and fly overhead to track your torpedos to the targets and watch the results that way without it effecting your computer so much.

Thanks for the answer WEBSTER. Using the free camera is what I have been doing, but sometimes it's a bit hard to go ahead of the torpedo because I changed their speed to 100 knots:D.

Change it to 1000. They will reach the target before the event cam has a chance to blink.

:o those arent torpedos, there cruise missles lol.
try modding your movement speed and fast movement speed for the free camera and you should be able to get it close to the right speed to suite those torpedos, then pack it into the torpedo mod so you only get it when you need it for those torpedos.
