Not sure exactly what you're asking, but here's an interactive latitude and longitude map: http://itouchmap.com/latlong.html

The American Practical Navigator (AKA The Bowditch) is available free for download from the US Government, and is considered one of the reference works as far as navigation is concerned. Give it a shot in Google.

Anybody know how to edit links so they don't look like crap? I think it used to be easier...A URL in forum code is created as:

description[/ url]

OR

http_or_whatever_link[/ url] (NOTE: no description)

!!! Remove the space in the last [/ url].
I had to add it so the forum doesn't treat it as an actual link

If you let the javascipt-window-thingy add the link it copies the link into the description part aswel, since it doesn't know what else to place there. So to make your post more pleasing to the eye edit your post and replace the second link inside the (http_or_whatever_link) stuf with a description.

Yes, indeed. Thanks, Pisces. I shall observe this protocol henceforth.

Ok thanks for the help. But, i recieve messages from other u boats that they are on a specific location, i don't think i can find the exact location in-game...maybe i should take a course of navigating...

these messages which include lat/long are for immersion only.

even if you expertly navigated to the coordinates in question there would be nothing except open ocean.

only the events which are specifically laid out in the manual are accurate as far as radio messages go.

I was considering asking if this was what you intended to learn: Sailing by the stars. (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=135215&highlight=Stellarium) But that would be a bit too much Uber-level navigation at this stage.
