Hi, just wondered if there is an Encyclopedia of WW2, preferably of the Kriegsmarine in date order?:-? The idea is that before I launch my patrol, knowing the date using SH3 Commander, it would be good to look up what happens on the particular date, I can then set my patrol grid to suit!:yep:

Here's a day by day timeline for the Battle of the Atlantic :hmm:
Just click on the year you want over on the right-hand side. http://www.worldwar-2.net/timelines/war-at-sea/atlantic/battle-of-the-atlantic-index.htm

cheers

Thanks all I appreciate it but what I'm really after is a book that I can purchase so that when I fire up SH3 & Commander not only could I set the grid but can also read through the dates to see what else goes on those dates, especially since the game takes about 5 to 10 minutes to load!!

Actutally you can "buy" it. But I am not sure if you can get it as a complete edition. The cost for any author trying to tackle that would be quite high. If you want a copy of the original, you will have to order it at Federal Archives in Germany. Cost ca 0.49 Euro per page. hehe

This also lists merchant/warships sunk on a given date, attacks carried out on a given date, U-boats lost on a given date and other general info:
