If the worst comes to pass, and there's now a slightly greater chance that it might, at least it might explain why we've never heard from extraterrestrial civilizations: Maybe they built Large Hadron Colliders of their own.

:rotfl:I have no idea who the folks were that were quoted in the story, or what agenda the author might have, but he certainly has a sense of humor.

What's so totally ironic is that one day, when one of the doomsday prophesiers is correct, they won't be able to say "I told you so" (unless they say it real fast).:D
