View Full Version : Your turn to mock me!
Some 14 yo was able to pass himself off as the police. I do not work anywhere near that district:

I dont mock police officers mate, but 5 hours? Wow. I'd be interested to know why this kid did that.

Because he's a kid. I would be more interested in knowing how he did it (=why nobody became aware earlier).
Your new avatar - you are really becoming serious about these things now, eh? :D

I suppose it must be hard at times differentiating the true from the false

In a way it is funny and in another, it is not. He could have potentially put the real police officers life in danger not to mention himself. The real officer would hope his partner would react as a trained officer should in all situations. I could see this 14 year old filling his pants if he was in a life or death situation. Kind of strange no one noticed after 5 hours on patrol. You would think the stations captain would know if a sub was coming in to one of his districts. :hmm:

They should wait until he's 18 and HIRE him.

The kid should join the navy instead...y'know, put his mind to ease.

McBee, would you shave that chest of yours, for heavens sake there are children that read this MB.....
BTW, I saw this kids photo, don't look like no 14 year old...yes, mistakes were made. Our problem is none of our stations are of the lockdown variety. Not as bad as some of the precient houses in NYC, but bad enough. The kid was an explorer kind of like an internship for high school students. Ideally it keeps them out of trouble (I said ideally) and grooms them for a career in LE. His learning curve was exceptionally high.

Well I hope this doesn't give him a criminal record and ruin his chances of becoming a real life cop.

I can't go into details because he is a juvenile, lets just say, he is no stranger to this type of scenario.
