My wife, a democrat, deleted my downloaded versions from it, and they aren't hosted on the campaign website anymore. Anyone know where I can find the one with the Blue background, with the transparent US flag?

I have found some OK, ones, but not the one from the campaign.
Of course President Obama's campaign website still has his download center up...so much for moving on.
If anyone has any links or knows anything helpful, I would be greatly appreciative.

Obama is the President. It is fine to remember the campaign.

But to keep the campaign background of the defeated up is just.. wrong. Especially when there are so many other backgrounds even about McCain in general.

Well I admit it is his wallpaper but damn.. I can see how it can drive anyone nuts. Much less a democrat.

If Obama lost I would be downright depressed if I still had his campaign background up all the time. Why relive the memory like that?

She is, and it's gone. I spent many a long hour attempting to goggle-fu it. No luck. There were similar ones, but not that one. Maybe next time...

It may be too late now, but have your tried any of the free un-deleting products? I've had some success recovering files that were inadvertantly deleted if there hadn't been too much activity on the drive that the deletion occurred on or there was sufficient free space on the drive that the file didn't get overwritten.

Actually, for a while now, I have had an F-14 as the background since 20JAN09, prior to that, the week leading up, I had a picture of now former President Bush giving a speech.

The first one is similar to the motief that the deleted wallpaper had but is not it. The one I am talking about had a blue background, with a semi-transpartent US flag in the foreground, with the simple McCain logo centered on all that. The second one you listed is an Anti-McCain wallpaper, which I am not interested. But thanks for looking out.
