Hi everyone.
I have a problem finding my screenshots. I have searched the forums and can find topics regarding this but only in rspect of SH4. I use Windows Vista which I presume is a large part/all of the problem (as usual). If anyone could provide a solution to this, or advise me as to the location of my screenshots it would be greatly appreciated!
The screenshots go to where you installed SHIII. They are stored on the main SHIII folder. However, some Vista users have said that if you have installed the game to your program files directory, you need to enable something so Vista allows user to make changes to the files under the program files directory, in this case, allowing SHIII to save screenshots there.
Confusing enough? :88)

Thanks - I have searched the Ubisoft/SH3 folders and no joy. SH3 has been installed in the Program Files folder so I suspect this is the cause. Windows Vista is very frustrating and I can fully understand why people are opting to have XP on new systems. I expect it has something to do with vista administator priveleges. If anyone has further advice, please post. Many thanks.

I'll add Vista to your thread title, might get a few more responses.

Hi and welcome Baumann.
Yes, you need to run the game as Administrator to be allowed by Vista to write to the games folder.
Now, to do away with the right click run as admin business you can elevate your privileges to the games folder.
Right click the \Ubisoft folder, click on property's (I have a Swedish OS, so I am not sure of the English words used), click on security tab, click on edit, in the middle of the window. Click on User (your name-computer\User) and in the box below click in the first check box, Full rights or something similar. That will fill in all check boxes below. Now click OK and sit back for a while. All files in all folders in the Ubisoft folder will be given new flags to allow you to do whatever you want.
The change will apply to all games in the folder, incl any games and or files you add to it in the future.
Might be easier to do an picture guide to this:hmm:

Thanks - your advice clear and correct. All seems to be ok now. Shame I dont have pictures from my last patrol though (I managed to hit an S-class sub with 2 torpedoes and had some great shots of the impact.)
