Agent dropoff

I got this mission to drop off an agent in the vicinity of Fremantle, but when I get to the spot where I'm supposed to drop him off nothing happens. I totally surfaced and went all the way up to the shore to the point of running aground and still nothing happened. Any ideas?

What was your indicated speed? I've found I need to be in 'creeping mode' (1-4 knots) before I get the Agent Insertion screen and the option to launch the boat. I usually try to be within a mile of the insertion point, slow or dead in the water and surfaced before I launch the boat.

I was stopped. I think the problem might have been related to my being pestered by planes around that time and that the area might need to be totally clear.

It's one of Mr. Syxx's excellent add-ons. I'm also unable to drop off an agent, even after waiting for nightfall and knocking out two (three?) DD's to get in close. Still enjoyable and challenging, though. Other drop-off missions that came standard with SH4 have featured the world's NOISIEST rubber launch! Sounds like yer boat's been rammed! Don't miss this aspect at all...
