Are there are any patrols vs the poles during Sept 1939 or are the boats automatically ordered to the Atlantic?

Most major mods allow you to start in August now so you can make your way around to the Baltic
WAC probably has the most on the Polish campaign in

I have a WAC\LSH3\GWX3\GWX3 + MFM and a GWX 3 install mixed with all the stuff I want to add
SH4 and SH4GWX

Only running 2 careers at mo so not difficult to keep track

With SH3 Commander you can change your starting grid. If you want to be ordered to patrol off Danzig at the beginning of the war set it for AO95.:yep:

Historically correct, but in game sailing without any targets for torpedoes isn't fun.

Baltic is an odd area
Is shipping there but early war the main opponent - Russia - is neutral so nothing really to sink
By the time they are at war all frontline flotillas are in France or Norway with training flotillas in the Baltic region only
has crossed my mind to put a training flot ingame so players can spend some time in that area but game wont allow any more flotillas than GWX has - Not an issue in SH4
- and could never decide on a flotilla to drop plus limited targets as Russian units stayed close to western Baltic and their home ports

Crazy thing is I scripted all the major Ge units in bases in the Baltic plus sinkings of Goya\Steuben and Gustloff etc along with some of the others
