I remember him on Take Hart and a few other programs too, when I was a child. He made drawing and whatnot fun.
Morph and his buddy, Chas, were the highlight of the programs for me, though.

Such a shame, I remember watching him and Morph on Hart Beat when I was a kid :cry:

He was also an officer in the Gurkha Rifles in WWII and donated his artwork to the Ghurka association to raise funds for them. I'll try and post links after an errand I have to run.
