GWX 3.0 vs GWX 2.1 + OLC Ubermod 2.4.3 [Archive]

Hi all!

From the GWX 3.0 manual:

Environment Improvements
• Added Environment 2.4.3 mod by --onelifecrisis?, with the following small fixes and adjustments by --Ref? and --Kpt. Lehmann?
? Restored moon reflections
? Set water opacity to GWX default
? Added moon by --Ichneumon?
? Retained original wave textures from GWX

So, I have a doubt:

Are the graphics basically the same in GWX 3.0 and in GWX 2.1 + OLC Ubermod 2.4.3?

Main difference between them?

Is worth changing from GWX 2.1 + OLC Ubermod 2.4.3 to GWX 3.0?

Please note the difference between the Environment mod (part) and his Ubermod. The Environment mod is/was part of the ubermod. There is i.e. no OLC Gui in GWX 3, ... if that is what you meant with graphics.

I'm pretty sure they're the same. Part of GWX 3.0 is the addition of OLC's beautiful environmental graphics.

There are a few changes between 2.1 and 3, but main difference is that it is an all in one install package for 3.0 instead of 2.1 plus fixes, hence the GOLD in the title.

I'm pretty sure they're the same. Part of GWX 3.0 is the addition of OLC's beautiful environmental graphics.

There were a few very very minor changes ie: underwater visibility distance, bumpmap scale, moon reflection....but the OLC environment mod is 99.99999% as per his original work.

In simple terms, GWX3.0 includes the tremendous OLC environmental mod.

Hello to all it has been a while,
I am trying to up grade from GWX2.1 to 3.0. I am downloading from File Front, Jimbuna's upload and it wont let me. I am using the Freedownload manager to do so. Does File front not like the file manager, or is it something else? Perhaps I should use another one.

No need for a download manager with FF files.
