Searching for brighter night sky mod

Would anybody happen to know where to get a mod for Silent Hunter 3 that makes the night sky brighter?

I have gone trough the mod list on the stickied post and tried my best to search the forums but can't find one anywhere. :-? I don't want to change gamma/brightness on my old CRT monitor because I have a feeling it will stress it quite a bit.

Found a solution to my problem. I figured that changing the night brightness as high as I had liked, would have messed up the day color of the sky. I was searching for something similar to Aces of Deep but I think that is impossible on SH3.

So instead I try not have a perfect night vision trough my monitor but enable the map contacts and automatic TDC to be able to attack without actually seeing much (my self) on the horizon. I'm also using the RealUboat mod so that intercepting a ship and getting into a perfect firing position requires some plotting on the map. Because of the lack of knowing how well it is actually possible to "detect" in the dark I also have the "detection" meter enabled so I know when Im too close to ships in the night.

Works for me and having lots of fun :up:
