Let the disappointments start.

Of course no one ever believed he would keep them even in a good economy.

Watch to everyone's surprise about Guantanamo. It will be kept open, or the prisoners will simply be moved to Afghanistan. Except those they were planning to release anyway of course, who Europe has said they will take them.

Yeah, ice cream. Can we have Coke machines and longer free time after lunch?

Ha! He doesn't mean scaling back of promises. You can rest assured that his administration and the Democratic Congress are going to throw untold billions at almost every issue he mentioned in his campaign.

What he really means is; "When this doesn't work, it's because of the economy, and that'll be blamed on Bush later on." I have a bad feeling that this guy is a politician, through and through. Well, I always had that feeling, but I'm hesitant to pass judgement too quickly.

I hope to God he really wants "change" and at least consider the ideas of reducing Federal spending and loosening market controls or we might end up with another LBJ, JFK, or God help us, FDR.

Every time BHO talks about the economy he adds more jobs, it started out at 2.5
million and jumped to 3 mil, than 3.5 and now 4 million jobs. It will be 5 million by the time he takes office. I just don't believe anything he says.

Undersea you are right he is just a politician. Worse yet a Chicago politician.
No offense 1480
