Mission Editor - How to add radar to sub?

Hi folks,

I wanted to do a little radar training so I created a simple mission and added a Gato class sub as the player controlled submarine. However when I start the mission there is no radar installed in the sub. Is there a way to install radar in the mission editor so when I load the mission I can do some radar training?

The easiest way to get the radar in your submarine is choosing a "construction date" for the unit late enough so that the radar comes installed as standard equipment.

Within the mission editor, in the properties window of the human controlled submarine enter something like July 1943 in the section "Unit version date", and there you got it.
