View Full Version : The most annoying bug ever

I am running TMO (latest version).
I saved a game before bedtime last night and reloaded, only to find that "the sub has been damaged" (it wasn't) and the crew is intent on spending the rest of the patrol screaming back every order I give them. To make it worse, the repair crew refuses to repair the very minor damage to the AA gun which never happened in the first place.
Any solutions to this?

Seems you are just striking out with mods. First RFB with bad realism and now TMO with bad reloads. :hmm: Sounds like one of those unexplainable saves. Sort of like when your sub sinks in the middle of a convoy yet not one ash can has made it's mark on you.
The only time I encountered something similar was when I installed an environment mod over TMO and it caused all my saves to damage my sub and send it straight to the bottom. No hull or system damage, just straight out sinking. :stare:

I've already had a save that wouldn't load properly. Immediately after the "Find em, Chase em, Sink em" screen it would crash to desktop. Only that save - every other save worked fine. Since then I've learned to save often and with different files.
I've also experienced the bug where my crew continually calls out old orders - but it only lasted a minute or two.
I couldn't say the cause of these bugs, since I've just started playing and I modded to TMO almost immediately.

Yea I hate it when the crew gets all hepped up and start screaming even while at silent running.
Sorry only 'fix' is to go to a previous save.

No, no no. I'm not blaming the mods. This could easily be a stock bug. I just posted what mod I'm using.

No, it is definitely the mod. Just watch what order you are installing them.

LOL! I feel like the South Park kids in the episode "Make Love, Not Warcraft" where they finally kill the rogue player, and
Stan: "so what do we do now?"
Cartman: "whaddya mean? Now we can finally play the game...."

I remember loading up one of my saved games and all I heard was "surface the ship" 100,000 times over.:damn:
