Yep .:yep: This gives you the whole deal on the Flying Tigers. I know I'm going to have alot of fun. I hope all of you do too.

I have another one called STAB. It's all about Corsairs and somewhat the "BlackSheep Squadron ". It installs with it's own exe. and has it's own DT Icon. That way if you have made changes to IL2 1946 this won't effect it . Kool huh ?

With the huge mod pack, AVG , and STAB it's like haveing 3 flight sims in one kinda.

I'm all set know for some serious flying. :arrgh!:

I have the John Wayne movie and that sold me on this campain.

I really like this campain, but there are others that I also like such as Sonder Komanndo 3, and 633 Squadron, I do have the campain about the Blue Nosed B'tards from Bodney but I haven't played it yet. I got a kick from SK3 its got everything from assaintion to attemping to kill a BB with X-4 rockets(doesn't work btw), followed by the destuction of its twin by 50+ bombers, after those bombs hit the water I tought my comp would die!

I myself prefer longer campaigns. Id have to say my favorite one so far would have to be the a modded campaign called The slot. (uses the air cobra. P39.):yep: Has a vary good story line, just the briefings kept me doing missions.:up:

I also like some of the fun campaigns out there, there is a good one called ba$tards of the slot, it isn't a serious campaign, it combines some good, some and some crap planes, massive air battles with pre WW2 planes, air pirates.:arrgh!:ect....

ON another note, go to M4T and get the IL-2 STAB. It allows you to configure a bunch of stuff and even has a war diary.

I have both BSWS AVG and STAB both installed and no conflicts with each other or IL2 1946.

And they both self install.

Stuck the BSWS campaign in for sh*ts and giggles, first sortie i got to transfer from carrier to land, then second sortie another transfer mission

I have ordered 2 GB of RAM to put my system up to 2.5 GB RAm, that is what slows me down.

This campaign though does stutter. EVen when I turned details down.

It doesn't struggle too much for me now, new rig.. dual core 2.6g ..1gig 9500 gt nvidia card and 4 gig of system ram,but it does take it's time loading,christ even the ntrk takes ages to load:doh: but at least with dcg now i can have 150+ planes in the air and it runs good, downside is that many planes in the air i'm like a dog with two bones '''what one do i go for first''' ;)

I was running P4 3ghz and 2g ram with an ati 2600hd 512mb sapphire on the other rig and it was fine. Stuttered a little with a lot of activity in certain missions.I kept the best conditions on fair and the worst condititions on hazy with DCG and avoided all the snow,rain and thunder and it run pretty well.

Kratos, get something called fsstart it allows you to shut down loads of services windows doesn't need and other applications running in the background. It frees up a lot of memory and I use it all the time.

Already got that on old rig, TBH didn't use it, I just shut down uneccessary proggies manually.

The newest BoB II patch comes with an .bat that literally closes everything that isnt important. From unneeded services to windows XP themes.
