How cool is this. I am of course, running RSRDC, and I just finished a patrol near the Marriannas around the end of February 1943. So, I pulled out my handy list of WWII Naval Battles to see the Battle of the Bismark Sea occurred March 2nd. Well I figure, let's go down there and see just how good a job Lurker did with RSRDC. I researched the battle while enroute to the vicinity to find out exactly where the battle was and found a map showing the enemies pathway to the battle. :know: I arrived in the Southern Bismark Sea late Mar 1st. Just as the sun starts to come up, what did I find on radar ? The Biggest f#$%*ng convoy I've ever seen in the game. There must be eight or nine big DD escorts with a mix of merchants right where history said they should be. I'm gonna take my time here and make sure I do this one right if it takes ten tries. This is gonna be fun. THANKS LURKER  How cool is that !

I love RSRD, wouldn't touch stock or any other mod without it.

I was wondering, though-

About the Battle Of Midway; I have run into Nagumo's main body once already, and can find them pretty easily enough. I have never, on the other hand, ever intercepted the First Fleet Main Force or the Midway Invasion forces. I know that the invasion force left the Marianas, but not sure what day, or whether Lurker fit that in.

Anybody ever pull that off?

Historically, the Main Body under Admiral Yamamato was about 500 miles behind Nagumo's carriers. The invasion fleet and it's covering force was several hundred miles to the south. The Japanese loved complicated and divided fleet movements. The Yamato's AA guns would have come in handy if she had been up with the carriers.

Thanks, Torplexed. I recall the the Battleships sailed separate from the Carrier Div.'s, but didn't recall where.
