Refit schedules

I know it's a bit of a spoiler, but is there somewhere where I can find schedules for refits for the various classes of boats?

I've just been offered (and accepted, of course) a Gato Class boat after 3 stellar patrols in a Porpoise. I would like the improved conning towers, with their improved EW suite.

It's been much discussed in the SH4 Mods section, it seems to be based on a random chance when you return to base.

I know Ducimus did a bit of research into it while he was making Trigger Maru.

Do a search for it in the SH4 Mods area for more info as I can't remember any more than it was random.
