1024 Accellerate Gameplay to 2048 Q

An old Q I am sure, but I am new to SH4. How do I change gameplay speed in navigation mode from a max of 1024 to 2048 like in SH3 ? Thanks

Just keep hitting the + key on your keypad. Goes way higher than 2048, too... :up:

Be aware extemely high TC rates may cause a stability issue, use it judiciously. I like to only TC while viewing the nav map and keep my FPS counter visible (ctrl F8) and try to keep the reading above 30 FPS. BTW, the backspace key will quickly take you to x1. Very usefull key.

I tried the accelerated time compression and it worked great(went to 2048 easily with hardly any frame rate issues). What a great sim this is !

ive been up to 5040 but you only get 2 fps. I needs a quad core lol...:cry:

I've never had problems with TC. Can get it over 3K without frame rate issues, and my rig ain't all that great.

Would be nice if there was something gameplay wise to do during those long voyages, though. TC is a real immersion killer.

we need to make chess or a card game to play...can it be done??Probably. But would be nice if there were a way to roam your entire boat, talking to crew members, assessing damage, just hanging out, etc. A card game would fit quite nicely. :yep:

In the books by people on WW2 subs they all seem to play cribbage. Great game, I would be up for some multiplayer subsim cribbage.
