I'm watching Pat Robertson on CNN. He's really bashing Bush, and says he's "Very pleased" with Obama, who has "the makings of a great President".:o

So he's pleased with someone who hasn't done a thing yet!

hope, change, blah blah blah,

As for the apocolypse, that would be the Cubs winning the world series.

...wait, there is a chicago connection there.

Obama has done nothing but enjoy the warmth in Hawaii. He is already back peddling his promises. The only thing changing is his address.

Yup, the least we should expect is a few major pieces of legislation on their way to Congress before the inauguration. Maybe a war or two.

Oh, wait.

Not to worry, Obama will be coming with hat in hand in the near future.

Not to worry, Obama will be coming with hat in hand in the near future.More like hat held out for a taxpayer handout, but in his case, he will just take you wallet and help himself while the government restrains you. Bush isn't much better lately in this regard.

All they could talk about is socialized medicine on NPR today and how its not a big deal to watch our tax rate double to 60% so that all Americans can enjoy decent (cough cough) health care. Obama will lead this charge.

Wait for it...hold....hold.... You can't start crying about how bad he is until he is actually sworn in. I mean go ahead and get some practice I guess. He has zero power as president elect. Maybe you will get lucky and Bush will launch a nuclear war in his last days, he still has time.

It's not surprising that some of his positions would change as he sees how the world really works...

Or as other people (advisors, goverment agencies, cabinet members etc) tell him how the world really (?) works. :hmm:
