I bought a bottle of Courvoisier and some wet warming intimate lubricant and massage oil to celebrate the new GWX. Oh yes, and my installation of SHIII is now totally naked, teehee.

First off, I really love GWX 2.1 but I have to ask why completely uninstall the game if your enjoying playing it as is?.
There are so many items that "could" happen with 3.0 - like a patch, a delay, unforeseen problems, issues with your own system that interfere with it running properly etc.
Look, I'm all for the latest and greatest, but why not do a second install and save it for 3.0 and continue with what you currently have?
Just a thought, and no I'm not trying to be Mr. Scrooge. :p
I'm going to keep GWX 2.1 up & running for the time being. As Silverleaf said, there could be an unforseen delay, patch, etc. with 3.0.
On another note; would someone here be willing to burn a copy of 3.0 for me on to a dvd when it's released? I'd reimburse them for the dvd & postage. I have dial up & there is no way that I'd be able to get it myself: my connection is just too slow. The only way that I was able to get 2.1 was that someone was kind enough to send me a dvd.
Thank you...:)

A second install is a great option/suggestion....I'm currently running a few more http://www.psionguild.org/forums/images/smilies/wolfsmilies/thumbsup.gif

I never hung on to your address earlier this year (out of courtesy).....but don't hesitate to give it to me again if you find yourself stuck http://www.psionguild.org/forums/images/smilies/wolfsmilies/thumbsup.gif

Currently I have 3 installs :)
1/ SilentHunter III ORIGINAL 1.4b
It s a clean install so I just have to copy it over and over without doing the whole installation process. Yes I m that lazy!
2/ SilentHunter III
It s the active install path, it s currently configured with GWX2.1
3/ SilentHunter III GWX3.0
Actually it s a fresh copy of the first setup and just waiting for the release of our toy :)
