View Full Version : CO2 Bug?

I did a search on the thread title and came up empty...

Anyone else notice this?

I complete a submerged attack and surface and notice there are no sailors on deck? After awhile the C02 warning appears in the upper right part of the screen. I click it and hear some moron say "Surface the Boat!" even though it already is surfaced. The compressed air restocked, the battery recharged, but the CO2 meter is still on the decline?

So I save the game and then reload my saved game and the CO2 is fine.

Anyone?

Well known bug introduced in 1.5. Apparently Alt+tabbing out of the game is the cause, at least one of them, and as you noticed saving and reloading cures it. Another funnier variation is crewmembers remaining on the deck when you dive and carefully scanning the surroundings with their binoculars

Yep. Thats the one. No Alt-tabbing. Got it?;)

:nope: I alt-tab all the time using MoBo.

I wonder if it still does it in windowed mode?

You don't get the CO2 bug if you're on the surface when alt+tabbing, so stick to radar tracking only and you're clear  The crew on the bridge when submerged only looks stupid, but then again one wouldn't even know they're there without the external camera.

Same problem here. Like you said; saving and loading fixed it.

For some reason... since last reported... I haven't had the problem again.

And I'm alt-tabbing above/below water constantly.
