You take all the fun out of reply posting!:-?

Only with family, and at least it wasn't for money, otherwise I would be without a shirt on my back!

I have a poker night once a month here. We play no-limit hold-em in a tournament format.

I play, poorly, only with family, and only for bragging rights. I really should stop trying to beat a three of a kind using a pair of jokers and an Uno card :yep:

Okay, I give up already (i've learnt to be an easy pushover, helps keep the peace with her indoors!)

Cue the bad poker jokes:|\\

I love that game:D Great fun for friend or family groups.

Unfortunately, I only do well if the ante is low or I have lots of money. I don't always win, but I always end up in the black:yep:

I play strip-poker with myself and I like to lose, does it count?

Before I discovered SH3 in April '08, I played quite a bit of online poker. Not near as much as most of the online players though. I look at as a hobby that you don't necessarily have to spend money on and you can make some money at it. Love it, and I still do. I've started playing poker again pretty regularly again. I'm taking a break from SH3 for now.

One interesting thing that I've noticed fro the start when I signed up on this forum is the friendliness of the members of this forum compared to poker forums. I'm a member of a couple of poker forums and I got to tell you, people can be downright rude, especially to newcomers. One forum is about dead and I haven't posted there since June of 2007. The other, I pretty much lurk at because there are some nuggets of great information but you have to sort through a lot of chaff and crap.

This forum has been great, with friendly helpful people. A newcomer is made to feel welcome and questions from newbies are welcomed. I have always found that to be so refreshing.
Keep up the great work.

Ill be more than happy to relieve you of your chips. :know:

As long as you keep the curtains down and never post pictures of it, go ahead!:yep:

I love Hold-em. Cash games/tourneys. Play at least once a week, usually more.
