Can not vent CO2 when surfaced

A couple of times I have not been able to vent the CO2 from the boat when surfaced, thus I have a bad problem:nope: .

I should figured it might be a bug. :hmm: I wasn't sure. I think the next time I have the CO2 icon up in the corner I'll click on that. But if it's a bug.

Try Alt-F4. That works with just about any problem.:rotfl:

I Alt-Tab out of the game all the time and haven't had the CO2 problem in months. If I do have it, I click on the CO2 warning box that pops up in the upper right corner (do I have it right this time?.....OK) of the screen and suddenly the entire crew grow brains and open the hatches. It's an initially annoying but nonconsequential problem.

Well I hope it doesn't happen tonight. But now I have something to go on.

On the flip side.

A little cool this afternoon. It is 0 with a bit of a wind. Winter storm for the weekend. Looking for around -16 zero and near blizzard conditions. Perfect weekend to patrol around the Pacific. But me and a coouple of the boys also have to take in a couple of Fighting Sioux hockey games Friday and Saturday nights.

I also had this issue.
The only fix I've found is to save the game right where I'm at (with the CO2 problem).
Restart the game and reload from that point.
When you restart the game the CO2 problem is fixed.

If.. you CAN reload the game and your saved files aren't corrupted like all mine are now (sigh)

So far every time I've clicked on the pop-up warning box in the upper right corner my boat has surfaced if it had to and vented the C02. If that won't work you can always exit and restart later

Yep, same here. I click on the button and it rises me to the surface.. recharges my batteries but the CO2 continues to increase as if you are submerged. My above post has been my only fix.

Finally had the opportuniy to use the CO2 warning box last night. Works perfectly. Though I wish just surfacing would would work. But oh...well. Thanks for the help all.:up:
