Ive seen this before. It was a staged photo oppurtunity, the man was 'secured' to the masthead, the boat knew he was there, there was rescue / support craft all around.

It was just the sensationalisim of the press and 'propaganda' of that era.

Not as dangerous as it was made out to be.

Still pretty cool though :up:
