Celebe Sea Turkey Shoot!

So I'm cruising at night in the Celebe sea. I spot a large convoy to the East, go to flank to get ahead, dive to periscope and wait. Fire a couple torps at a fat merchantman. Then the convoy runs right over me - I was literally in the middle! The merchies were so busy doing evasives that one actually ran down one of the Destroyer escorts, not 500 yrd away from my scope! I maneuvered out a ways and fired the last four fish I had into the pack - every one hit something. What an evening!

Similar to my evening. I jumped a convoy with three destroyers. I slipped past the screen and sunk one merchant but the screen saw me finally and ran me down. I was in 78 ft. of water so I couldn't dive so I surfaced and sunk all three destroyers with the deck gun and chased down and sunk three more merchants!

I was lining up a shot when I heard a terrific grinding and crunching of metal - thought my scope had been hit from behind, but nothing there. Crashdived. Checked the damage board - nothing. I went to outside view and saw this merchantman totalling out the rear quarter of a Destroyer - never knew SH4 would collide it's own AI ships!
