The difference between a good footballer and a great human - just one act.

I wasn't impressed when you ran down the line patronizing down your former Falcon teammates. I was ready to drive you out of the 49er clubhouse after feuding with Jerry Rice.

However, all is forgiven.

My mother in law (age - about 400) was on a flight out of TN this morning coming to the west coast for Xmas/New Year. She changed planes at Dallas where Mr Sanders offered to help her.

Seems my MIL forget to mention that she was in a wheelchair when we spoke last night. She had a fall last Tuesday and didn't want it to ruin her plans.
Deion, offered to help her on the plane, pushed her chair and stowed her luggage. MIL was confused when he refused autographs while pushing her through DFW airport.

When they landed in San Diego, he came back, collected her, got her off the plane first and tipped one of the ground staff to take over for him.

Just One Act of Kindness, and All is Forgiven Deion, for you helped an old lady who didn't know who you were.

As a Falcon fan who had absolutely no good will for "Neon Deion" while he was here, I thank you for that story. It's good to know that he's grown up, so to speak.

Ahh, Mr. Sanders. A misunderstood man if ever there was one.

Great story!

Nice to see that a person in his position can still think of others.

And this is the same Primetime who said that Vick would be a great QB for the vikes... when he gets out of prision. The best part, he was dead serious!:rotfl: :nope:

...but that was very noble of him, to take the time to really help someone. I bet she was shocked when she found put who he was.
