View Full Version : Disappearing conning tower with Nvidia 178.24 driver

Since installing the latest Nvidia driver 178.24 my VIIB conning tower actually disappears showing the two periscope masts inside. Perhaps this is what is called artifacting?


I know the easiest solution is to revert back to older driver but I'm curios to know whether anyone is experiencing this with Nvidia 178.24 driver as well. And if there's a solution to this.

What card ?

I'm using a 7800GS and don't experience any problems.

It seems that the problem is mission specific.

No probs here with a 8800GT and 178 driver, nor with the latest 180 driver. But that's in a GWX career in the Med - which mission(s) give you the problem?

It seems that the problem is mission specific.
