questions about GWX

hi,

what is GWX and why should i have it? i found lots of links to download it, but there are so many files with similar names, what would be the most suitable one?
can i download it from my office connection and later upload it to the game computer, i have no internet connection on that one?
please don't go technical on me, i am not any good with computers beyond the most simple applications.....

For me GWX is a must have. If I load up the original game, I have it backed up, it´s like... Nothing... Lifeless...


You can download the files and burn them to a DVD and bring them home:yep:

Ok, You need GWX2-1.bin - GWX2-7.bin, 7 files, and GWX2.exe for the base install. Then you need GWX21.exe to update to GWX2.1.
And then AOTD-AA-Ship-Schleuse-Bugix.7z for some bug fixes.

That´s a total of 1.34Gb plus 33.5MB for the bug fix.

cheers for the link, you are right, the office pc is working hard, we have pretty slow internet here, so it plods along with 15kb/sec.....

you also could wait for the release of GWX 3.0 in a few weeks

If you go on the GAmeshadow site you can download GWX and a few more mods and they will install automatically when downloaded.I managed to do it and i am a total Puter biff!
