The reason I ask is that a very well respected lady prophet has just revealed a vision she had two days ago indicating that President Obama might not make it to the end of his first term. I already know what ya'll think about prophets and of course the daily news for the last few months could also seduce the mind, but still this is disturbing.
Her name is Miriam Fraklin out of the UK I think.
She has never been wrong ... makes it even more interesting.
Tough question. I'm sure there's many who'd like to see him dead because of him being the first black president. :hmm:

History could've asked it in 1963 ... "Do you think President Kennedy will make it to the end of his first term in office"
Speaking of Kennedy, his brother Robert Kenendy said that there could be a black president in the next forty years. The year was 1968.

OK... I don't like him - I didn't vote for him - but I ain't going to vote on this because #1 its bad taste, #2 its disrespectful of the OFFICE of president (regardless of who holds it) and lastly, our opinions on the matter - dont matter. I also ask for the poll to be removed.

I dont agree with the man on many levels but he is our elected president and should be shown a modicum of respect.
This sick poll should be wiped and nuked and the starter should be drawn and quartered.
It's always a possibility but I hope to God that President Obama stays safe. Hopefully any potential assassins will realize that even an attempt on his life would likely backfire on their cause. I could imagine nothing that would unite my country more than a dead president.

I think a better poll would have been be to ask how many people think he'll attempt to gain support for a constitutional repeal of the 22nd Amendment which would then allow a President to serve a third term. :D

Geetrue won't have posted in a malevolent manner, a morbid manner perhaps but not with malice.
I've got little doubt that there are a number of threats being assessed and countered by your different security services, and hopefully their vigilant work is successful.
I have to say though, I doubt there is a credible, immediate threat to the president-elect at the moment, as someone else pointed out should anyone even try anything they would forever tarnishtheir cause.
I for one hope that nothing happens though.

Taste is subjective, and this isn't the first time I've heard this question. To some people, Obama, as the first African-American president, might as well have a big ol' bullseye painted on his forehead. To some people, the bullseyes is there for a different reason
But every president will have people who want to kill him, so is Obama really going to have more than the usual number of nutcases after his head? Hard question.

I am by no means judging the poster here - I can accept the poll was not meant maliciously. Still, the office of the President - even when many do not like the person in it - should be respected. I doubt this was done disrespectfully, but I know it came across that way. Tis why I have not voted. I would not ever hope for the death of another human unless in combat, and to someone who has earned the office of POTUS (though I disagree with him on numerous levels) I would hope that we as a country and a people would find ways to enact positive change during his tenure - as well as choosing another direction in 4 years.

The real point is in what God thinks ... now a real uproar can be heard, uh?
How dare I should bring up Gods name, but that is what prophecy is all about.
Did God allow 911 knowing full well what it would cost in human sacrifice?
I think so ... several prophecies were issued years ahead of time about a 911 event that would come to pass ... yet just because an all knowing God allows the ruler of this world (lucifer, satan, the devil) to win some and to lose some does not make Him a big bad God ... He is a very smart God.

I almost never post in any political thread but I really have to say something here. I don't understand why most of people here think that if you answered 'no' you are thinking about Obama being assassinated? Wrong assumption!
I answered 'no' for a different reason: I believe that President of the U.S. does not have any real power therefore his assassination would not serve any purpose. The real power lays with the U.S. senate and lobbyists. According to Obama's claims that is exactly what he wants to crack down on. The reason behind me voting 'no' in the poll is that I believe that Obama is a dreamer and idealist and is in need of reality check. I believe that he will not make it through his first term because he will get indicted on some bullsh*t charge when he decides to not play along with lobbyists.
We have seen it in this country before. If you can indict one president because he was given a head and then leave war-mongering lying criminal run this country until the end of this term unpunished then there's no real justice here.
Personally I think that this poll is not really serving any purpose and should be closed.
But that is just me...
BTW I really hope that I am wrong and Obama will find the way how to turn this country around but unless there is a SERIOUS change to the system he's got a snowball's chance in hell.

How about an Amendment where the president and politicians in general ARE actually to be held RESPONSIBLE for their actions. Like the rest of us?

August, I would treat anything from Debbie Schlussel with a truck load of salt. She was one of the key propogators of the Obama is a Muslim myth. Quite frankly I think she is in the same mould as Ann Coulter and has been proven in the past to be factually challenged.
That aside this is the first that I have heard of such an allegation. Best notify the GOP so that they can initiate impeachment proceedings on Inauguration Day. Well according to the article the "researcher" was only allowed to see the document after the election.
