I know it's probably been posted a million times. Here's 1 million and 1 :p
While leaveing my text English, I changed the voice setting to German.
What a big difference. Not just the voice immersion but, different sounds.
Morse code before messages and alot of new other sounds.
Old modded game !!! BAH !!! It just gets BETTER. :up: :up: :up:
Jawhol! Das German voices gibts the game much more realismus. After alles the German crews communicated in German when speaking German. Like Balz says, the reason we receive messages in German is because we read them in German, if the French sent us messages, we would read them in German unless they sent them in French. When someone sends you a message in Eglish you can't read it in German. If you translate a French message into English you can't read it in German unless you translate your German into French. Alles klaar? :88)

Been playing it with German voices enabled since day 1, long before GWX. Played SH2 the same way, which is why I use the Das Boot Sound Mod.

only a few mistaken time have I played in English, and boy did those times suck!

I'll never thank enough my parents for bringing me to the german school :D not only do I know well another culture, but also can enjoy the U-Boat sims at their highest point.
Now that I'm also learning russian, I have downloaded the russian voices pack for Dangerous Waters and boy what a change in that game and in IL2 :D :D
