Holy crap, thats alot of money gon down the Toilet.
each time i watch something about Chernobyl i'm invaded by a weird feeling i think in human history except maybe with the meteorite thing the humanity never faced such a serious problem the kind of thing in front of which you can't do anything a process that can't be stopped (except by God obviously) and which can lead to the humanity extinction . As i'm writing these lines i'm realizing how bad nuclear power can become . very very modest respect for the soldiers the miners and all the people who made everything for the disaster to be stopped . we'll note that over 10 events 4 are related to petroleum

The Russians definitely know how to do things big. No one can hold a candle to that.

What.............. Come on Subman, you don't think those corporations had to foot the bill for those disasters. Nah heck no. All of us here reguardless of where we hail from paid for these screwups.
Hitting below the belt. Not at all, more like between the eyes. It's a lot more fun.
In all seriousness, those corporations got us through sales, and government involvement (taxes) meaning us again to pay for their folly. When everyone of those corporate owners and their cohorts should be suckin' it up. And if it puts them out of business, well let it be a lesson to the rest of them, and those that follow.
