... has been delayed to 4th Decembre in Europe, US release some time later.

Both this game and TvT were, by all reasonable expectations, finished games. The main hold up on distribution, I would've thought, lies within the translation of the language part of the game, ie: manuels, sound files, etc. And I've known some Russians that speak very good English, as I'm sure there are others that speak other languages equally well. Even if it's a hold over from the cold war.

But I suppose it could be that the OS that run Russian computers are a lot different than those that run the west's. Anything is possible.

As A side note, I guess it may have more to do with when the Russian Orthodox Church celebrates Christmas. Marketing practises transcend national/cultural borders.

I hope SF gets to where I live before Christmas. People have been praising this game.

You could order it online at Lighthouse Interactive, I am kicking myself for ordering it at Play.com, since I wont be cutting down Russian trees until next friday.

I'm reluctant to buy stuffs online with credit card. The only thing that I ever bought online was SB Pro PE and that was because I didn't have an option.

I hear you, but as long as the shops are genuine (in this case a software publisher) you are pretty safe. I order all my stuff online these days, havent been in an ordinary computer shop or gaming shop since 2007, I think.

Cant wait to order my groceries online too.:)

Between ordering it in Holland (from Germany) and getting the parcel, 6 or 7 days passed for me.

But I would really recommend to make sure you know what you get with this game. Note that I say "game". If you need to make a choice between several titles you plan to get, you may want to wait until the review is up, and then think twice. I will no longer post it in the forum, but Neal is setting it up as the official tanksim review, due to that, there will be a delay. And I must say I have some serious issues with this game. It's all quite shallow a game. I will deinstall it today.
