While we all conduct this in our own way, I though it might be nice to have a special signature for users to wear at this time.

I'm a little late doing this but I offer this image for everyone who wishes to wear it and honour our living & dead heroes.

RDP

No problem.

I have to admit, that in this day & age, many genuinely forget about the 11/11 @ 11am, I for one. This time I wanted to make sure I didn't and if, for whatever reason, am unable to observe silence, I know I did my small part.

I hope others will adopt my gesture as it's only for a few days.

Thank for this Danlisa.

It is really sad in Slovenia. Yes, we have the Kobarid museum about the Isonzo front (Soška fronta), but other than that, we have no remembrance day here in Slovenia that I know of. The only positive thing to have happened in years was the re-enactment of the Battle for Hill 110, featuring the cavalry division that was led by the men that latter on secured our northern border. Even so, they used old, 19 century cannons. Well, atleast the uniforms looked right.

What do you, I don't have any lectures at 11:00. I will make sure to pay a moments respect for those who have fallen.

I don't want to do any propaganda here, but if you're interested in the period, Ageod is launching its WW1 strategy exactly 11.11. at 11:00.

Does anyone know why it's GMT and not GMT+1?

I usually try to make it to the war memorial on the 11th, it's not far from where I work and I usually knock off before 11 *touches wood*.

Thanks for this sig Dan, beautiful piece of work
