Is there a way I can run this thing under Windows 2000 Pro?

Anyone? Can I run SH4 without XP?

Currently running Win 2000 Pro SP3, an overclocked Nvidia 7800GS, Core-2-Duo (2.2Ghz) 2G RAM, and I can find (or make) the necessary HD space as needed.

But can it be done in the first place? Or will I just have to wait until I build a new XP Pro PC?

With that kind of hardware, you'd be far better off just buying and installing XP.

I am almost certain that I've seen a discussion about using Win2000 for SH4. I remember reading that it could be done. I don't remember where though. Maybe try UBI forums if you don't find it here. Breaking news...

It would appear that you can run SH4 under Win 2000. Now if I could only remember where I left that tool???

FWIW, I do own three new unopened copies of XP Pro, and I have been planning to use at least one of them on a new build pretty soon, but I'd like to be able to get the thing to run on this older PC too if possible (perhaps just so I can use it as a MP server).

Hopefully the link will help me get it done.
