Hi,
I bought Fighting Steel on ebay and it is an entertaining game from what I've seen so far. I haven't tried the campaign yet but I am afraid that the game will become boring for me soon because of the lack of operational/strategical level scenarios or campaign play.
I found 2 applications which work as a kind of container for Fighting Steel.
The first one is Thunder at Sea (http://forums.navalwarfare.org/showthread.php?t=6). I tried the demo and it looks promising but I am not sure if it is worth 24.99$...
The second thing I found is Fighting Steel in the North Atlantic (http://www.german-navy.de/games/fightingsteel/fsna.html), it is a Java application which apperantly is a bit older (like Fighting Steel itsself ;)). It is freeware but I could not get it to run on my computer yet. Maybe my JRE is too new or not setup correctly.
Who has experiences with the games/applications mentioned above?
