Need help to restore a saved game

I know, I know, some saved games crashed upon loading. So I usually play the entire patrol within out stop keeping my computer on. But this patrol I have seen more action that most, and I am approaching a task force when the laptop freeze. I have 3 previous saves, and 80k GRT so far in the patrol and 6 torps left.

But none of the three saves can be loaded without crashing. All three saves happened when my boat is on the surface with nothing ln sight. Somebody help! Maybe I can modify something in the files and make it load normally?I hate to redo this patrol from the beginning.

Happens to me, happened to me...I've had to restart patrols. From what I gather it's not uncommon, so I typically save pretty often now. Maybe load up a patrol with a different career to make sure your game is working properly, but chances are you're out of luck :dead:
