This is really the one that got away. My brother and I found a complete Buick Invicta that was prime for restoration. Unfortunate our Mother did not want "That piece of crap" in her driveway. Thanks mom, it could have looked like this in a few years.

This is my favorite so far: Mazda 323F in it's first edition.
Low fuel consumption, resonable power, good looking and absolutely reliable.

When I got out of the Navy in '75 the first thing I did was go car shopping. In the basement lot of the downtown Buick dealer I found (and fell in love with) one of these ('57 T-Bird, in red):

http://www.shs58.org/graphics/57tbird.jpg

Unfortunately, it was about a thousand more than I could afford, so I ended up getting one of these (1975 and a half MGB):

That's a US Army jeep, see the USA?. If it belonged to the USMC it would say that instead. Of course half the jeeps the USMC owned were probably stolen from honest soldiers...

Always wanted one of these http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpI_q4es3ek

Had one of these back when I was 19 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1lVaG_tNlY

Had one of these http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umG7Nhbs4uM Lots of modifications to it. Had Craeger SS rally rims, a 429 Cobra Jet under the hood, Offenhauser straightflow intake, with a Holley 850 Doublepumper, dual point ignition, 4:11 possie ladder bars from the rear axle to the framerails off the frnt of the unibody. Federwall headers, and California sidepipes. Painted A very dark purple, with classic yellow and red flames. Ran real mice on the 110 octane gas from the dragstrip, but it would also run nicely on the gas I would get at the local airpark since it was 103 octane. The original owner's manual said not to run anything less than 98.5 octane or it would ruin the engine. Also had the original rally pack on the dash. With the ladderbars and all that horsepower, the 6speed racing tranny puttin' the power to gears in the rearend would launch the car from 0 to 60 in a little over 4 seconds. Not too bad for a car that weighed in at 5500 lbs.

Right now working on one of these http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djKpG5JiUzw&feature=related

Damn, you keep it nice and shiny. My grandfather is a Veteran from World War II, so he still follows the ways of the U.S. Marine Corps. He keeps everything clean. For instance, if his truck got dirty, it's a Silverado as as far as I know, every time it gets dirty he takes it to the car wash for 4$.

Last weekend, I took this pic of his truck, it's where we hunt. Dawson, Georgia.

Yep, those older Cudas and Mustangs are my favorites. (there are a couple more, but those are the top two.:yep:) Those older cars were built really good, my mother had a ole 86 or 87 ford ltd, some crazy woman rammed the back end in the middle of a intersection, did absolutely no damage to it (the ramming was intentional, the woman stopped and then floored it when she was in the middle of the intersection.) but her newer car on the other hand. We couldn't find her, she did a hit and run on it.
